Olga Fontanillas-Desi, originally from Barcelona, is the founder of ODVision. Olga has 15 years of experience in the fashion industry, leading international sales, merchandising, and marketing initiatives.
Olga entered the fashion industry fifteen years ago, as the head of U.S. operations and sales at David Grau, a Spanish jewelry company, where she increased U.S. sales by 40 percent. Later on in her career, she worked as sales manager at Victoria + Co., a division of Jones new York, where she managed all the European, Latin American sales for jewelry brands such as Nine West, Givenchy, Tommy Hilfiger, Napier, Judith Jack, increasing sales by 20 percent. In 2002, she becames a sales manager at Liz Claiborne, where she managed the international expansion of a portfolio of different jewelry, handbags and accessories brands, such as Liz Claiborne, Monet, Kenneth Cole, and Juicy Couture. She successfully launched these collections in new markets such as Mexico, Puerto Rico, Centro America and Chile, bringing the international division 60 percent of total sales. Most recently, Olga worked as a sales executive at Brunello Cucinelli, a high end luxury Italian brand. In this role she led the sales of Brunello Cucinelli’s apparel collection to major department stores and specialty stores in the US and Canada.
Olga created ODVision with the vision of bringing her years of experience in helping expand fashion brands in international markets to the benefit of niche fashion brands. She is passionate about helping unique, niche fashion brands grow their business into the US, Canadian and Latin American markets. Her moto for foreign companies that want to enter the US market us: “Be open minded, think outside the box, be willing to invest, believe and adapt.”
